Curtis Media Group is seeking an experienced radio Promotions Director to organize and manage the marketing and promotional activities of our key radio stations in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Curtis Media Group offers an Internship Program designed for the benefit of students currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in mass communications or a related field.

Internships are available throughout the year, in a variety of sites, in the following departments: News/Public Affairs, Programming/Production, Marketing/Sales and Promotions.

Internship requirements are as follows:

	Must be a full time student currently enrolled in a college, university or graduate school
	Must be a junior, senior or graduate student

	Must be able to intern a complete semester or term (minimum three months).  Internship days and hours will be scheduled so as not to conflict with the  student’s class schedule.
	Must work a minimum of 10 hours per week and not more than 20 hours per  week
	Must reside in the market area while the internship is in progress OR have a  reasonable commute to the site and reliable transportation
	Must complete the CMG internship application and submit it with a letter of recommendation from a college professor and/or counselor
	Must have a GPA of at least 2.8 in Major and 2.5 Overall
	Must be available for a personal interview
	Must be willing to work for credit rather than compensation (although some paid internships are available in News)
