This is a sales support position, where the right candidate will be

employees. We are looking for a talented assistant who needs little
supervision and can prioritize tasks well. Often, tasks require
creative thinking and problem-solving skills to accomplish goals and
complete projects. If you are always up for a challenge, have the
ability to multi-task, and are an outstanding team player, this
might be the position for you.
Requirements for this position include excellent communication
skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word,
Excel, Power Point and Internet Explorer. Experience with graphics
editing programs, MS Access and Adobe products is a plus! A
four-year college degree or the equivalent combination of education

Would You Like To Be A LaLey Intern?
The Curtis Media Group offers an Internship Program
designed for the benefit of students currently enrolled in a
college or university, pursuing a degree in mass
communications or a related field.
Internships are available throughout the year, in a variety of sites, in the following departments: News/Public Affairs, Programming/Production, Marketing/Sales and Promotions.
Internship requirements are as follows:
- Must be a full time student currently enrolled in a college, university or graduate school
- Must be a junior, senior or graduate student
- Must be able to intern a complete semester or term (minimum three months). Internship days and hours will be scheduled so as not to conflict with the student’s class schedule.
- Must work a minimum of 10 hours per week and not more than 20 hours per week
- Must reside in the market area while the internship is in progress OR have a reasonable commute to the site and reliable transportation
- Must complete the CMG internship application and submit it with a letter of recommendation from a college professor and/or counselor
- Must have a GPA of at least 2.8 in Major and 2.5 Overall
- Must be available for a personal interview
- Must be willing to work for credit rather than compensation (although some paid internships are available in News)
Curtis Media Group interns are expected to actively contribute to the projects assigned. Apply only if you are willing to work hard and are responsible and quick to learn. Specific internship assignments will vary depending on the needs of the stations, as well as the site and timing of the internship.
